I know that mini-vans are not the height of culture and class, and our van isn't even a "status van", but I am just thrilled to have it. For all but the past week of Hannah's life, all 5 of us have crammed in our sedan when we've been out as a family. We've never really been a 2 car family before, and so it's nice that way too. Although with gas prices as they are in Alberta-about $1.20/ liter (yes, that's about $4.80/gallon!)- we should probably just walk!

Congrats on your new wheels! I'm sure that makes things a bit easier. I must admit that as uncool as they are, I really want one too!
