Disaster Averted

Whew! Just a few minutes ago, I was making dinner (the missionaries are coming tonight). I THOUGHT that the kids were happily listening to a book on tape (Treasure Island, for my pirate-in-residence). I left the kitchen just in time to find that the kids had found my the mascara I'd just bought and had been trying to free it from it's plastic encasing (that could've been messy...). Even worse, considering the company that will be arriving a little later, they'd found my stash of a certain feminine hygeine product, and had started sticking them to the inside of the front window of our house. Ah, the creativity!
